Arranging One's Books

Brief Notes on the Art and Manner of Arranging One’s Books is an essay written by Georges Perec that lists and describes several possible ordering schemes for organizing your personal library. Designing the essay into an organized book breaks up the information and allows a reader to flip through the essay with a lot more ease and interest. Communicating the ups, downs, and challenges of organization became a key component for designing this book. Colorful infographics and illustrations were important to creating interesting visual enhancers to the text and aided in creating logical and captivating movement throughout the pages by making each set of pages different, but still relating to the overall design of the book.
